Addison Group is seeking a Paralegal - Civil Litigation to support a busy legal team in Fort Worth, TX. This contract-to-hire role is onsite and involves comprehensive litigation support across multiple attorneys, including research, drafting, filings, and case management.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, strong research and writing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Civil litigation, defense, personal injury, or related practice area.
• Experience managing multiple cases and deadlines.
• Strong legal research and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with legal research or case management software.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Research statutes, case law, court procedures, and other legal resources relevant to active matters.
• Draft, revise, and proofread motions, briefs, pleadings, writs, and other legal documents.
• Review transcripts, court records, and case materials to identify important information and potential issues.
• Prepare and coordinate filings with state, county, and federal courts while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review documents for accurate citations, formatting, and compliance with applicable court requirements.
• Maintain case calendars, track important deadlines, and keep files organized throughout the litigation process.
• Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and researching supporting case law.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and litigation support across multiple cases.
