Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Civil Foreman to supervise and coordinate construction crews on highway, utilities, and related projects. You will plan daily activities, align with plans and specs, and drive safe, cost-conscious execution on site in Indiana.

You will lead skilled and unskilled workers, manage equipment and tools, and coordinate with inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to meet schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 5+ years Industrial and Supervisory experience preferred.
• Certifications/ Licenses: NCCER, a Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite equipment fleet and crew logistics.
• Recruit hourly trade personnel and plan work allocations.
• Execute Work Plans and monitor progress against schedules.
• Control costs and ensure work meets budget targets.
• Conduct Toolbox and JHA safety meetings; enforce safety policies.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure conformance with plans.
