Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Civil General Foreman to lead field teams on industrial civil projects. You will supervise foremen, craft personnel, and equipment operators, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and safety requirements.

Strong reading of blueprints and coordinating multiple trades are essential. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, monitoring progress, maintaining safety, quality, and productivity, and communicating field issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level experience (5–8 years).
• No minimum education required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate civil foremen, craft personnel, and equipment operators.
• Oversee excavation, grading, concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel, underground utilities, demolition, and general civil work.
• Verify grades, elevations, dimensions, layouts, formwork, reinforcing steel, embeds, and anchor bolts.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Plan and sequence daily and upcoming work activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, work packages, and project requirements with foremen and crews.
