Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Abilene, TX is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to oversee crews, manage daily activities, and ensure work is completed on time according to project timelines, plans, specs, and industry codes.

You will train crew members on safety and operational procedures, coordinate equipment, materials and labor, maintain accurate reports, and communicate scope and schedules to leadmen and teams to uphold quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Ability to plan and train safety practices, policies, and procedures.
• Strong communication and supervision skills.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control and unit manhour performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including quantities, productivity, timesheets and daily reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and carry out activity sequences for crew.
• Complete work within budget while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Ensure crew safety and enforce safety rules on site.
