Job summary

Bechtel in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Civil Field Engineer to support the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine area on the Cheyenne Power Hub project. You will perform construction engineering for earthworks, foundations, concrete, and structural scopes, interpreting drawings, preparing work packages, and providing on-site technical support to the construction team.

This role requires collaboration with engineers and craft professionals, readiness for extended shifts, and adherence to safety standards,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering (or international equivalent) with relevant field experience.
• 2–5 years of site civil/structural experience or 6–9 years total experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings, sketches, and installation work packages for assigned scopes.
• Manage field material, quantities, and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and craft professionals for field execution.
• Draft change notices and track cost and schedule implications.
