Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Civil Field Engineer to support the Cheniere Corpus Christi LNG project in Texas. The role provides technical assistance and on-site supervision for structural steel installations and coordinates subcontractor activities.

Flexibility for night or split shifts may be required on occasion. The successful candidate will lead inspections, track material requirements, and ensure adherence to design drawings and standards on a major LNG export facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years.
• Experience managing technical services subcontracts.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead team members in a collaborative environment.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and document installations for all discipline systems.
• Provide technical support to field supervision for manpower, tools, and materials.
• Prepare field material requisitions and monitor PO status.
• Coordinate subcontracted activities to ensure materials and quality.
• Verify civil construction quantities and report weekly installed quantities.
