Job summary

Primoris Energy Services seeks a Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support to the construction team. You will act as the front-line contact for technical issues and contribute to WorkFace Planning, such as work packaging and status updates.

Additional duties include Change Order Management and quality control. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in field engineering on industrial projects, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to travel to various project sites.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years field engineering experience in power generation, petrochemical, or similar industrial projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with scheduling and project management software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and resolve issues.
• Generate RFIs with clients/subcontractors and track impacts on scope, schedule, and cost.
• Review project specifications, standards, and drawings from clients and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and safety compliance.
• Understand project schedule and ensure work packages align with the schedule.
• Prepare project status reports covering schedule, progress, and open issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and monitor submittals.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures across deliverables.
• Ensure field activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
