Job summary

Milestone Contractors, based in Indianapolis, seeks an experienced Estimator to generate quotes and bids for heavy highway and civil construction projects across Indiana. You will analyze blueprints, prepare budgets, set schedules, and ensure estimates meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least 3 years in heavy highway/civil or bridge construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Heavy Highway/Civil/Asphalt Paving/Bridge construction or related field.
• Strong communication, client focus, and teamwork abilities.
• PE license preferred; Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Generates and develops quotes.
• Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare quotes/estimates.
• Prepares budgets and schedules for work.
• Reviews billings, prepares change orders and job cost reports.
• Communicates with internal/external customers.
