Job summary

Harrison, Walker & Harper in Paris, TX is seeking a Civil Estimator to join our team. You will assist the estimating department with pre-bid activities, quantity takeoffs, plan reviews, and bid packaging.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000–$100,000 per year, full-time schedule Monday–Friday, and benefits including 9 paid holidays, generous PTO, 401(k) with company match, and medical/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Excel, Insite Elevation Pro and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications.
• Proficient in take-offs and scope analysis.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assists and executes estimating work plan: estimate preparation and setup, bidding coordination, posting plans to Building Connected/Base Camp.
• Assists in coordinating and soliciting quotes from vendors/subcontractors; place bid advertisements.
• Reviews plans and specs to establish complete scopes and accurate estimates.
• Performs quantity take offs and provides accurate scopes, counts and quantities.
