Job summary

Harrison, Walker & Harper is seeking a Civil Estimator to join the Paris, TX team. The role involves assisting the estimating department with pre-bid activities, plan and specification review, and bid preparation to ensure timely and accurate estimates in line with company guidelines.

Qualifying candidates will be proficient with Excel, Insite Elevation Pro, and AutoCAD, with strong knowledge of construction documents. Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay based on experience.

• Proficient in take-offs and scope analysis.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assists and executes estimating work plan including estimate preparation and bid coordination.
• Assists in coordination and solicitation of quotes from vendors and subcontractors; posting plans for bidding.
• Reviews plans and specs to establish complete scopes and accurate estimates.
• Performs quantity take-offs and provides accurate counts and quantities.
