Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator near Tampa, FL to join our civil construction team.

The role focuses on estimating roadways, sitework, earthwork, underground utilities, and paving, with a preference for candidates who have used HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Agtek or B2W. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of civil estimating history, strong quantity takeoff skills, and the ability to coordinate with project teams on logistics and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a stable work history in Civil Estimating.
• Develop estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
• Prepare or oversee accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Understand project logistics and project schedule.
• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Agtek or B2W preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare civil project estimates for roadways, sitework, earthwork, underground utilities, and paving.
• Oversee quantity takeoffs, materials pricing, and bid package completeness.
• Coordinate with project teams to align estimates with schedules and logistics.
• Apply industry tools and software to generate accurate estimates.
• Assist in bid submittals and post-bid reviews as needed.
