Job summary

HGA offers a paid summer internship for Civil Engineering students in 2027, with locations in Minneapolis, MN or Milwaukee, WI. The program runs about 12 weeks from June 1 to mid-August, starting as early as possible per student schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
• Interest or coursework in stormwater systems and drainage design.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D or CAD software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing civil drawings and plans using Civil 3D.
• Perform stormwater calculations and analyses.
• Support stormwater design efforts with HydroCAD data.
• Research applicable stormwater regulations and site requirements.
• Review geotechnical reports and integrate findings into designs.
• Collaborate with project teams to support project delivery.
