Job summary

GHD is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization for a summer internship. You will assist engineers and project managers on a variety of projects including water distribution, sewer collection, pumping stations, roadways and stormwater.

The role offers a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration three days a week, and opportunities to perform design analyses, prepare drawings, and learn on real-world infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Bachelor's or Master’s degree program.
• Understanding of Engineering fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Researching code and regulatory requirements.
• Researching design options, component specifications and document findings.
• Assisting with CADD drawings.
• Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilities.
