Job summary

DCI Engineers in Coeur d'Alene, ID is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to work on site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and road design, while collaborating with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality designs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of civil engineering experience, a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, and strong communication and time-management skills to coordinate with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with stormwater modeling and technical information reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, and road design (including profile layouts).
• Coordinate design details and construction document requirements with engineering and drafting teams.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct detailed phases of engineering work.
• Attend design meetings as directed by the Project Manager.
• Review submittals, prepare technical reports, and write observation reports.

• Collaborate with engineering and drafting teams to coordinate design details and construction document requirements
• Plan, schedule, and conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work
• Attend design meetings, as directed by the Project Manager
• Review submittals, prepare technical reports, perform routine conveyance calculations, and write observation reports
