DCI Engineers in Coeur d'Alene, ID, seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead complex building projects, mentor junior engineers, and foster client relationships. Qualifications

• 5 years of civil engineering project management experience.
• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• PE license is required.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and civil engineering projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop, coordinate, and direct production of project documents.
• Prepare fee proposals and contracts for clients.
• Develop workload and scheduling projections for project staff.
• Oversee site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, road design.
• Provide or oversee construction support services and submittal reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers and drafting teams on design details.
• Review drafting and communicate with contractors during construction.
• Evaluate additional service requests and coordinate permit responses.

Ready to take your engineering career to the next level? DCI Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager in our Coeur d'Alene, ID office. You’ll apply yourcivil engineering degree and hands-on experience to lead complex building projects, mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams, and develop lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Do

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will lead site development and civil engineering projects, including:

• Develop, coordinate, and direct the production of engineering project documents
• Prepare fee proposals and contracts
• Develop workload and scheduling projections for project staff
• Oversee and perform site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, and road design (including profile layouts)
• Perform or oversee construction support services
• Review submittals, prepare technical reports, perform routine conveyance calculations, and write observation reports
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams to coordinate design details and construction document requirements
• Review completed drafting and communicate with contractors during construction
• Evaluate additional service requests, review billing, and coordinate permit responses and construction support

To succeed as a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you should bring the following skills and experiences:

• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers

• Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university
