Job summary

LeoForce in Tampa, FL is seeking a Mid Level Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead multiple land development projects from planning through construction certification. You will oversee residential development, site planning, permitting, design coordination, and agency approvals.

The role requires 1–5+ years PM experience, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, and a Florida PE or ability to obtain PE within 2 years.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Florida PE License required (EIT candidates with ability to obtain PE within 2 years may be considered).
  • Minimum 1-5+ years of Project Management experience within Civil Engineering.
  • Strong experience managing land development projects from concept through construction.
  • Experience with residential development projects and permitting processes.
  • Master Planned Community experience highly preferred.
  • Experience preparing project proposals, fee schedules, scopes of work, and managing project budgets.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams, manage multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple civil engineering and land development projects from planning through construction certification.

  • Develop project scopes, fee proposals, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate due diligence evaluations and feasibility studies for residential and commercial developments.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate internal engineering, planning, and construction inspection staff.
  • Manage submission and approval processes with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing project communication.
  • Participate in business development efforts including networking, client meetings, and marketing activities.
  • Track project financial performance, budgets, profitability, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Coordinate with outside consultants and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
