Job summary

IMEG Corp in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Civil Engineering New Graduate to work with a team of experienced engineers on transportation and public works projects. You will perform hands-on design, analysis, field inspections, and report writing while receiving mentorship and training to grow your expertise from day one.

You will contribute to earthwork, drainage, and site grading tasks, support permit applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Basic AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge and ability to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic calculations including hydraulic, traffic, piling or rebar calculations and earthwork balancing.
• Assist in designing water and sewer systems for municipal and private projects.
• Assist with grading and stormwater designs for site plans.
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements and explain technical information.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and documentation of design decisions.
• Contribute to quality control and adherence to IMEG standards.
