Job summary

IMEG Corp is seeking a Civil Engineering New Graduate for a Long Island, NY role. You will support analysis, design, field inspections, report writing, permit applications, and site drainage and grading.

The position offers mentorship, training, and growth opportunities from day one. You'll work with senior engineers and multi-disciplinary teams on municipal, environmental, and wastewater projects, including water/sewer systems, stormwater, and community infrastructure while prioritizing safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to complete training quickly.
• Knowledge of design techniques and concepts for technical plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays.
• Preferred: internship in building design consulting.
• Preferred: Engineer in Training (EIT) license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, and field inspections.
• Perform basic calculations (hydraulic, traffic, earthwork) as assigned.
• Assist in designing water and sewer systems for municipal and private projects.
• Support grading and stormwater designs for site plans.
• Communicate with clients and document design decisions to meet requirements.
