This Civil Engineering position is part of a multi-disciplinary team providing land development, site improvement, and adaptive reuse services, with responsibilities aligned to ASCE Grade IV and opportunities for

Qualifications

5+ years of civil engineering experience or equivalent in a related field. Will consider senior roles.
Professional licensure required.
MS or PhD in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university, or plan to obtain MS within 4 years through tuition reimbursement.
Affiliation with ASCE or other civil organizations with active participation.
Demonstrated advanced technical knowledge in your area of expertise.
Ability to integrate work of several technical experts into an effective solution.
Prior exposure to similar project types and awareness of related resources.
Time management and project scope management skills.
Ability to identify and manage changes in scope.
Expertise in software analysis tools (e.g., XPStorm, XPSWMM, Civil3D, AutoCAD, AutoTurn, HydroCAD).
Willingness to travel to out-of-state sites and to remote locations.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

Preparing proposals with budgeting and staffing.
Planning work for supervisor approval.
Solving complex problems with general guidance.
Managing a complex project or part with supervision.
Delegating tasks and mentoring project staff.
Maintaining direct client contact and building external relationships.
Contributing to internal technical training.
Drafting letters, reports, specifications, and proposals with minimal supervision.
Leading technical and/or project discussions with clients and teams.
