Job summary

LA28 seeks a Senior Manager, Energy Design Engineering to lead electrical design for all Olympic and Paralympic venues in LA. You will guide consultants, define objectives, and ensure reliable power for competition, broadcast, and operations.

You will oversee load studies, capacity analyses, and coordination with utilities and temporary power providers, while advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or 7 years of equivalent experience.
• At least two years of leadership experience in electrical design delivery.
• Experience with temporary and permanent electrical infrastructure design.
• Experience with electric utilities or temporary power providers.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the electrical subject-matter expert for Games venues and facilities.
• Define electrical technical objectives and strategies for consultants and projects.
• Lead electrical design development for temporary and permanent power, including load studies.
• Coordinate with utilities, temporary power providers, and the Energy Program Management team.
• Present compelling updates to executives, contractors, and government agencies.
