Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports site feasibility studies, prepares design plans, reports, and field work, offering exposure to diverse land development projects under expert leadership.

You'll gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, report prep, and coordination with the team, within a collaborative, safety‑driven environment that supports mentorship and growth.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a four-year Civil Engineering degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules and cost estimates using engineering software.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrological, topographic data for project planning.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and feasibility analysis.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks; apply engineering principles and math.
• Perform other duties as requested.
