Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Sunrise, Florida team for an immediate fall 2026 start. You will gain hands-on exposure to traffic studies, water and sewer studies, and construction plans under supervision.

The role emphasizes learning through diverse tasks, collaboration with multiple departments, and development opportunities within Bowman’s supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in college courses; civil engineering focus preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must hold a valid state driver's license and pass motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site grading, erosion and sediment control design, CAD design and drafting, storm water management design, water treatment, traffic analysis and/or utility design.
• Assist with field inspections.
• Observe and participate in construction administration (RFI/Submittal) responsibilities.
