Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Stuart, Florida, is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team. You will assist with designing traffic studies, water, storm, and sanitary sewer projects, and roadway plans for construction, under close supervision.

The internship emphasizes learning, collaboration with multiple departments, field inspections, CAD design, and exposure to construction administration tasks, with a focus on developing core civil engineering skills and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrolled in college coursework or degree program.
• Civil engineering focus preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site grading, erosion and sediment control design, CAD design and drafting, stormwater management design, water treatment, traffic analysis and/or utility design.
• Assist with field inspections.
• Observe and participate in construction administration (RFI/Submittal) responsibilities.
