Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Tucson, AZ team. This internship focuses on introducing traffic, water, storm and sanitary sewer studies, site plans, and roadway design under supervision.

You will assist with grading, CAD tasks, field inspections, and construction administration while learning from experienced engineers and cross-functional teams. This role emphasizes growth, learning, and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active enrollment in a civil engineering program is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic CAD tools is expected.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site grading, erosion and sediment control design, CAD design and drafting, storm water management design and related tasks.
• Assist with field inspections and participate in construction administration (RFI/Submittal) activities.
• Support design work for traffic, water, sanitary sewer studies and roadway plans.
