Job summary

Bowman invites applications for a Civil Engineering Intern position in Naples, Florida for Summer 2027. The role focuses on introducing design and development of traffic, water, storm and sanitary sewer studies, site plans, and roadway plans for construction.

You will work under supervision, gain exposure to CAD drafting, field inspections, and construction administration while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience required.
• Enrolled in community college courses, a college degree program, or formal continuing education program.
• Focus on civil engineering or related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must hold a valid state driver's license and successfully pass a motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site grading, erosion and sediment control design, CAD design and drafting, storm water management design, water treatment, traffic analysis and/or utility design.
• Assist with field inspections.
• Observe and participate in construction administration (RFI/Submittal) responsibilities.
