Job summary

As an intern, you will assist with construction observation, learn to review and edit plans to Fehr Graham standards, and sharpen CAD skills. Depending on the project, you may work in the office or in the field, gaining practical engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
• Familiar with or able to read blueprints.
• Able to work well independently and in a team.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager on one or more projects; participate in construction observation.
• Review and edit engineering plans to meet Fehr Graham standards.
• Sharpen CAD skills; perform basic design computations; help deliverables.
• Work in both office and field settings as needed; collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists.
