Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking motivated Civil Engineering students for an internship to work on a range of municipal and environmental engineering projects. You will learn and contribute by supporting project teams in both office and field settings.

You’ll engage in construction observation, plan reviews, CAD tasks, and basic design computations, developing leadership and teamwork while aligning with Fehr Graham’s collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
• Familiar with or able to read blueprints.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong speaking and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observation and measuring quantities.
• Review and edit engineering plans to Fehr Graham standards.
• Gain exposure to surveying; work in office or field as needed.
• Sharpen CAD skills and assist with basic design calculations.
• Collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists; support deliverables.
• Learn how state and local regulations influence design.
