Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill's Community Development group seeks a civil engineering intern for a 12-week paid summer program to support site design projects. The role offers hands-on experience on real client projects and collaboration with experienced engineers.

The position is full-time Monday through Friday, with flexible/remote work opportunities, and exposure to permitting, design software, and construction administration in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering focusing on site design and land development.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Prior CAD software experience preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD and Synchro for design tasks.
