Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking highly motivated Civil Engineering Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program based in Portland, OR. This paid full-time internship runs roughly June through August 2027, with potential for a full-time transition after graduation.

Under supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders, you will work with engineers, scientists, and technologists on drawings, calculations, and design tasks, gaining hands-on experience in civil projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent data collection, technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of engineering drawings and engineering calculations.
• Support civil engineer design tasks including sheet setup, drafting, and proposal development.
• Support additional tasks as necessary.
