Job summary

CCME, Inc. seeks a motivated Engineering Intern to support public infrastructure and transportation projects in Fresno. The role focuses on ensuring work aligns with design plans, budgets, and schedules while gaining hands-on field experience.

You will accompany engineers on daily site visits, help review invoices, track quantities, and assist with RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings. Strong communication and organization are essential, with MS Office and Bluebeam familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes, materials, and codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam.
• EIT certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Accompany Engineers on daily field inspections and documentation of construction activities as needed.
• Assist with tracking quantities for payment and assist with reviewing contractor invoices and monthly pay applications.
• RFI and submittal review under supervision.
• Assist with constructability reviews.
• Document field changes and help maintain as-built drawings.
• Prepare meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and inspectors as needed.
• Assist with schedule tracking, issue resolution, and punch list development.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
