Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking Civil Engineering interns to learn across municipal and environmental projects in the Midwest. You will report to a Project Manager and gain hands-on experience in construction observation, measurements, and plan review.

This internship emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and applying coursework to real designs. Office or field assignments will vary, with CAD practice and exposure to state and local regulations.

Qualifications

• You must be pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
• You must be familiar with or able to read blueprints.
• You should work well independently and within a team.
• You should speak and write well.
• You should have strong analytical and organizational skills; you must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observation and quantity measurement.
• Opportunity to gain exposure to surveying.
• Review and edit engineering plans to Fehr Graham standards.
• Develop CAD skills and assist with basic design computations.
• Work on office and field assignments as needed.
