Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a civil engineering student intern to join our Civil and Environmental Business Sector. The position is a temporary full-time role at 40 hours per week for 3 months, with potential for extension.

The intern will assist engineers and project managers, work on detailed designs, and perform feasibility studies while learning in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is enrolled in a civil engineering program, possesses basic AutoCAD Civil 3D

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an engineering bachelor's program with civil engineering preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, organization, and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and apply engineering principles to real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and project managers with day-to-day project tasks.
• Use computer programs to develop detailed designs.
• Undertake technical and feasibility studies.
• Ensure work products meet client, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Support drafting tasks with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.

Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil preferred)
