GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a civil engineering student intern to join our Civil and Environmental Business Sector for a 3-month, full-time internship at 40 hours per week.

The position emphasizes applying engineering principles in a fast-paced team environment to support project delivery. Candidates should be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil preferred); basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Excel is expected, along with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

Enrolled in an engineering program pursuing a Bachelor's degree (civil preferred).
Strong MS Word and Excel skills.
Experience with drafting programs (AutoCAD, Revit) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers and project managers with day-to-day project tasks for successful delivery.
Use computer programs to develop detailed designs.
Undertake technical and feasibility studies.
Ensure work products meet client, environmental, and safety requirements.
Possess beginning knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil design tasks.
Collaborate effectively with team and communicate clearly.
