Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join our Boca/Delray, Florida office for an internship. This role is on-site, not remote, and involves using software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.

You will contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects. You’ll gain familiarity with Federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn practices while learning tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil

Qualifications

In the process of receiving an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
Develop familiarity with regulatory practices and Kimley-Horn standards.
Interns will learn software programs like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
