As an intern, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to community development projects that may include urban design and planning, roadways, park and recreation design, multi-use trail and pathway design, traffic engineering, landscape architecture, assessment and rehabilitation, infrastructure design, water and wastewater conveyance, and storm

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Desire for coursework exposure to planning, design, construction, infrastructure, hydrology, environmental, surveying and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Complete civil components of diverse projects within a design team.
• Inspect construction sites for compliance with documents and engineering principles.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and other deliverables.
• Attend meetings as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports as required.
• Procure permits and approvals from agencies.
• Communicate with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
• Assist CAD drafting and construction documents.
