Job summary

Stantec is seeking Summer 2027 Civil Engineering interns for its Community Development Group in the Midwest. Interns will join a team working on urban design, roadways, park design, trails, traffic engineering, and water infrastructure.

Responsibilities include assisting with CAD drafting, site inspections, and preparing construction documents. Qualified students should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or related fields, have strong communication skills, and be capable of multi-tasking

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree (minimum) in civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, environmental, construction management or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Use technical and communication abilities to complete the civil component of a wide variety of projects in a dynamic design team setting.
