Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Lubbock office is seeking engineering students to join as interns for hands-on design, analysis, and deliverable QC. This on-site opportunity provides exposure to multi-discipline projects and mentorship from project managers.

Interns will gain experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, and GIS while learning approvals, permitting, and regulatory practices under ABET-accredited degree pathways in Civil/Environmental or related engineering fields.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program pursuing Bachelors or Masters.
• Majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural or Engineering Technology.
• Active progress toward degree with strong academic performance.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
• Solve complex problems and assist project managers across disciplines to realize client visions.

Education

ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology
