Cognitioworld in San Francisco, CA is seeking a motivated civil engineering student to join our team as an intern. You will help familiarize with engineering plans, perform quantity take-offs, assist with project monitoring, scheduling, and computer modeling under senior guidance.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration with engineers and drafters, and producing drawings, calculations, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd year undergraduate or graduate student in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and engineering software.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and professional interaction.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Strong commitment to integrity and ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
