Job summary

TYLin International in San Diego, CA is seeking a Civil Engineering student intern to support engineering projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, assist with project monitoring, scheduling, and computer modeling under senior engineers, and help produce drawings, calculations, and cost estimates with CAD software.

Ideal candidates are 3rd- or 4th-year students or graduates with strong organization, communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate student in Civil Engineering.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency; engineering software experience preferred.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Prepare progress reports and calculations.
