You will develop targeted sales strategies, manage client relationships, and lead pursuits across public and private sectors, aligning investments with agency priorities and funding strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, technical leadership, and business development with proven success as a leader.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain long-term client relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills — persuasive, engaging, and effective across all audiences.
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to identify market trends and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth efforts across the Transportation market, strengthening CHA’s visibility and competitive position across public and private sectors
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aligned with organizational business goals and transportation market priorities
• Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business opportunities across state and local agencies, municipalities, transit authorities, and transportation-focused clients
• Manage client database (CRM), generate leads, and follow up to maintain a strong and sustainable opportunity pipeline
• Develop compelling content for proposals, conferences, social media, and transportation-focused marketing initiatives
• Represent CHA at transportation industry conferences and events, building lasting relationships with agency leaders, executives, and technical decision-makers
• Collaborate with CHA leadership teams to support proposal development and strategic pursuit decisions
• Provide market updates, sales forecasts, and strategic insights to senior leadership to inform growth planning
