Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Oakland, California office in 2027. This is not a remote position and offers exposure to civil engineering design and regulatory processes.

Analysts will utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel and other programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for multiple projects, collaborating across disciplines to shape future built environments.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027.
  • Majors include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for built environments.
  • Develop familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
  • Learn software programs specific to disciplines (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, GIS).

Education

ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) by Summer 2027
