Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Savannah office is seeking engineering graduates to join our team in 2027. This is not a remote position, and you will contribute to civil and environmental projects while learning industry-standard design tools under mentorship.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, GIS, and related software, while aligning with federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn practices to deliver safe, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) by Summer 2027.
Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering; Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, OpenRoads, Synchro and GIS.
