Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Cumming, Georgia office is seeking engineering graduates for 2027. This entry-level role focuses on applying technical software to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables and to contribute to civil design and permitting on multiple projects.

You'll gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and other industry tools while learning regulatory practices and collaborating across disciplines to turn clients' visions into built environments.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree expected by Summer 2027.
  • Majors include Civil and/or Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological/Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
  • Proficiency with listed software is beneficial for deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, produce, and QC deliverables using technical software.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
  • Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.
