Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Gainesville, Florida office in 2027. This is not a remote position.

You will analyze and QC deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and related tools while supporting pre-construction design, planning, permitting and analysis on multiple projects. Expect collaboration across disciplines and learning company procedures and standards.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) by Summer 2027 in one of the listed majors.
  • Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver clients’ visions for the built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with regulations and company practices and standards.
