Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree in a relevant field (Bachelors or Masters).
  • Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical or Agricultural Engineering.
  • Engineering Technology acceptable with related coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize software programs to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
  • Develop familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
  • Interns will learn one or more software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.
