Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Escondido, California office in 2027. This is not a remote position and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Analysts will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS to analyze and QC deliverables for clients while learning regulatory practices and collaborating across disciplines to shape the built environment.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering; Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multi-project scope.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices.
• Learn software programs including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
