Job summary

Magrym Consulting, Inc. seeks a Civil Engineer to perform civil engineering work for private and public sectors in Midland, TX. You will work on site development, commercial plans, subdivisions, and roadways using Civil 3D and related software, collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality designs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 2+ years of design experience, and E.I.T. with PE licensure pursued within the required timeframe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum two years of experience in the design of civil engineering projects.
• Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) certificate or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas or New Mexico within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents and cost estimates.
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
• Visits sites regularly and attends meetings with clients/contractors as needed.
• Communicates with project team members, client representatives, and others as appropriate to the project.
