Job summary

Magrym Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to perform site and roadway design in Midland, TX.

The role involves civil engineering work for private and public sectors, using Civil 3D and related software, with emphasis on client service and collaboration. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, has 2+ years of design experience, and is aiming for EIT certification with a Texas or New Mexico PE within two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in civil engineering design
• Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) certificate or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas or New Mexico within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents and cost estimates
• Conducts engineering design under supervision of an experienced engineer
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and final working drawings
• Collects and analyzes data under supervision of an experienced engineer
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems
• Works under budget and schedule constraints
• Visits sites and attends meetings with clients/contractors as needed
• Communicates with project team members, client representatives, and others
