Burns & McDonnell is seeking an experienced Staff Civil Engineer to join our Power global practice and design world-class renewable power projects. You will lead civil design from development through construction, coordinate with project teams, AHJs, and clients, and perform field inspections as needed.

You should have an ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering, 3 years of civil engineering experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• FE or EIT preferred; MS may substitute for experience.
• 3 years civil engineering experience; consulting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform civil design from development through design completion.
• Lead stormwater modeling and BMP design; support permitting efforts.
• Prepare site plans, grading plans, erosion control/stormwater plans and demolition plans.
• Coordinate with AHJs and assist with permitting requirements.
• Conduct field inspections, measurements, or calculations for clients.
