Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. seeks a Civil Engineer to join our team to design and lead site development and industrial infrastructure projects. You will work with a diverse team of engineers and architects to produce drawings, specifications, and supporting field data.

The candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, 4–10 years of experience, and a PE or eligibility within 12 months. This salaried role includes overtime eligibility and growth within our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• 4–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Travel up to 20% local travel; overnight travel may be required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency preferred.
• Knowledge of topographic surveying and 3D laser scanning preferred.
• Ability to self-manage assignments for multiple projects concurrently.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead designs for site grading, layout, stormwater, sewers, water piping, paving, and site development for industrial facilities.
• Develop engineering contract documents including drawings, specs, and installation scopes using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.
• Lead field data gathering including surveying, 3D scanning, and GPR.
• Lead estimating material take-offs and prepare budgetary construction cost estimates.
